House Rules
Eligibility for Club Privileges
All Members in good standing of this Lodge and any visiting Member(s) from other Elks Lodges are eligible for club privileges.
A Member must accompany and be responsible for his/her guests at all times.
A Member shall not bring a guest into the club whose application for membership has been denied.
All Guests must sign the guest register book.
Guests are welcome three times. After that, they will be asked to complete an application for membership.
Conduct of Members
Members must conduct themselves in a manner becoming of an Elk at all times.
Profanity, obscenities and lewd behavior will not be tolerated in or around the Club.
No outside alcohol is to be brought onto Lodge property.
No Firearms or Weapons are allowed in the Lodge.
Any Member conducting him/herself in a manner unbecoming of an Elk will have charges filed and will be subject to disciplinary action as determined by the Statutes of the Order.
Harassment of any kind is inappropriate, unlawful, and will not be tolerated.
Lounge and Main Hall Rules
No smoking of any kind is permitted in the building. This includes e-cigarettes and vaping.
No outside food will be allowed while without the consent of the House Committee.
No one under the age of 21 is permitted to be standing or seated at the bar.
No one is permitted behind the Bar or in the kitchen without consent from the House Committee.
Drinking of alcoholic beverages behind the Bar area is prohibited.
The Bartender is responsible to secure and lock the building when the bar closes. The responsibility can be assumed by any Officer of the Lodge if the occasion arises.
Members shall not, under any circumstances, reprimand an employee of the Lodge or Club. Any complaint must be presented to the House Committee, either directly or by way of the Secretary, in written/signed form for the appropriate actions.
NO animals will be allowed in the building except for certified service animals or scheduled entertainment.
Dress of members and guests must be in good taste and appropriate for the occasion. No one is permitted in the Lounge or Main Hall without shoes and a shirt. Bathing suit tops are not considered shirts.
All bar tabs must be settled before leaving the premises each day/night. The House Committee reserves the right to add a 20% surcharge on any unpaid tabs.
Trash dumpsters are to be used for Lodge trash only and not personal trash.
Members are responsible for their key card. No Member or Spouse shall permit another person to use their key card. (When and if we have installed a key card system).
The House Committee will govern all Lounge and Main Hall activities.
Penalties for Violation of House Rules
Any Member conducting him/herself in a manner unbecoming of an Elk may have charges filed and will be subject to disciplinary action as determined by the Statutes of the Order.
The bartender or any House Committee member has the authority to cease serving any Member/guest.
Any violation of rules will be reported to the House Committee Chair. The House Committee will act on such actions immediately. The violating Member will be given an opportunity to appear before the House Committee as per Statutes of the Order. Members failing to appear will be judged in their absence.
